IBM is exploring the potential sale of IBM Watson Health business, which employs AI to help hospitals and drug makers manage their data, the WSJ reported. The unit generates roughly $1 billion in annual revenue and is currently not profitable, the report said. IBM could sell the unit to a private-equity firm, industry player or merge with a blank-cheque company.
